For Ladies and Family Members
This convention is for you too. If you are anything like me you don't want to drive by yourself in a strange town looking for things to do without your spouse. Well this beautiful village was set up for you. Once you arrive at the Fort William Henry you will never have to step foot in your car Many places in Lake George are within walking distance of the hotel, or a trolley car ride away, but if you decide to drive most everything is on one road - Route 9. How easy is that! Choose a day of shopping in Lake George & lunch at the Logjam Restaurant. Maybe you want to read a book by the pool overlooking the lake. Your children will love Six Flags Amusement Park or Water Slide World.
On Friday I hope you'll join me aboard the St. Sacrament for a tour of Lake George. The cost includes lunch and the cruise.
On Saturday at 9 am I will lead a hike on the Shelving Rock Trail. The trail is a gentle climb with switchbacks - 1.7 miles each way. If the weather forecast for Saturday is unfavorable we will make this hike on Thursday.
Along the way we'll see a waterfall and have a spectacular view of Lake George.
This excursion will be 5 hours in length. Bring a bag lunch and water. You can buy a sandwich right in town at the Subway shop. Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes. Bring a camera. This is a fun FREE thing to do.

Most everything is within walking distance, or ride on one of our friendly trolley cars, but if you decide to drive most everything is on one road Rte 9. How easy is that! We've listed all the activities that you can within this picturesque village. There is so much to do or if want to read a book by the pool overlooking the Lake. When Steve & I decided to host this convention I agreed to do it with YOU in mind. My husband may be the light of my life, but I'm not into Coleman lanterns. I want to make your trip here a fun one. I'm working on a day trip aboard one of our steamships for a tour of Lake George. Your children or teens will love Six Flags Amusement Park or Water Slide World. We can take in a day of shopping at the outlet & lunch at the Logjam restaurant. Then in the evening enjoy Lake George's nightlife with your spouse & the rest of our group.
